We are only two weeks into this New Year, and no fewer than ten potential new clients have contacted us. This is the most positive sign of what the future holds for us. But that’s not all. We wrote up this Newsflash because we have even more good news to tell you about our company.
The first news item is that we are reinforcing our sales team with a new Director. Gérard Mias joined our Executive Committee with one simple objective: to strengthen our position in all of our markets, in French-speaking countries (where our number-one position is unchallenged) and throughout the rest of the world. We also celebrated the end of 2010 with the addition of a presence in a 33rd country, Taiwan, where we now have two new clients.
To put this strategy into effect, Gérard will be supported by our cutting-edge technology, which is developed in perfect synch with market demands. Our clientele need solutions that can change over time and at the same pace as their own technological developments.
Who doesn’t work in a heterogeneous environment these days? And with ever-increasing interaction between these various technologies?
In a variable environment like this one, ARCAD has always oriented its software development strategy toward greater openness. A typical example to illustrate this point is the ability to integrate all of the leading CASE tools in the AS/400 market. We then went even further by offering the ability to synchronize with other change management tools from open systems, such as the highly popular CVS and Subversion, to name just two. .

Today we are setting a new standard by creating a bridge between the IBM Rational RTC tool and ARCAD’s deployment offering. Thanks to this development, we have earned “Ready for Rational” certification and are officially listed as an IBM technological partner.

This certification is the second important piece of news we wanted to share with you. It is significant, because it represents recognition of our technology on a global scale and in an ever-more-competitive environment.
