Manage EnvironmentsSetting up work environments is the first step for implementing Data Configuration Management. Work environments help you structure your organization and allocate different databases. You can setup multiple environments, each one with a separate database, if you need to work with multiple data changes at the same time. You then have all the tools for making comparisons between environments and even transfer a set of data changes from one environment to another one. A set of data changes is identified under a single version number. This is why we are able to provide you with some archive facilities. You can access to each previous data values. It’s also with this version number that the system will be able to identify which data need to be transported into a target database. You can then either directly replace the data, or setup a validation process in order to resolve conflicts. The build-in rollback feature will allow to totally secure the process. Note that this feature requires the complementary ARCAD-Deliver module. Tags: |
