Adelia Connector

Adelia Studio is a range of development products articulated around a repository and a 4GL allowing the design and development of applications in different architectures: native IBM i, Web, and graphical client server, and those running on Windows Mobile platforms. It is a software development platform that can generate applications running on IBM. It finds its complement within our Release management solution to help cover downstream phases as deployment.

THE SOLUTION

ARCAD Adelia connector provides real benefits for production teams, thanks to Adelia, providing productivity and security guarantees to IT in all phases of change on and around the IBM i. In a user-friendly and efficient interface, Adelia interface offers the librarian features that complement the Adelia CASE tool to help him or her in the release management phases. ARCAD-Deliver has different levels of interface with the range of Hardis Adelia development tools:

• An interface with Adelia/400 products, namely Adelia production or Adelia design. ARCAD-Deliver allows management of 4GL components (Adelia entities such as models, management rules, entities files…) and 3GL (generated source and OS objects).
• An interface with Adelia/IWS and Adelia Web Studio. ARCAD-Deliver allows complete management of multi-platform components and integrates its control processes directly from the server hosting the Adelia repository.

THE ADVANTAGES

In ARCAD, this interface was designed to work in the lower layers of the products core technology for a natural fit with existing procedures, and thus do not require multiple processes. The result is an interface that fits perfectly with Adelia standards and ARCAD procedures.
