Fields Cross References

Note: This feature is only available if you have the source code for the applications you wish to analyze.

Cross-reference information at the field level is very helpful for code comprehension. It provides a deep level of detail, more than just the component or object level. Frequently, when doing impact analysis, you start with a field, either a database field or a displayed or printed field. Then you have to drill down through your code in order to find how this field is used everywhere, and see what different business rules are attached to it.

Only field level cross reference information can provide you with this level of detail. ARCAD-Observer is extremely powerfull for two reasons:
