ARCAD’s methodology - our central Repository brings together all software components and retrieves all dependencies and cross-reference information for those components.  The IBM i OS already provides some good cross-reference information, but it's incomplete and therefore insufficient for full analysis. At ARCAD, we improve the quality of the cross-reference information by performing fully automatic source code analysis.

ARCAD’s unique in that it provides multi-platform cross-reference information. By performing the source analysis, for any language, the tool can trace all the inter-relationships between IBM i components (program or file) and other open-system components (Windows, UNIX, or Linux).
