The products are distributed with standard “macro-commands” which the users can adapt for their own needs.
The Internal Macro-Language
MACRO-MAKER is made up of two distinct pieces:
- The Lists Manager
- The Macro-Commands Processor
The Lists Manager allows the user to build groups of sources, objects or fields, then apply actions to these groups (transfers, compilations or any OS command).
The Macro-Commands Processor is equivalent to the AS/400 / iSeries CL language (it allows you to link system commands by inserting a logic), it also includes properties that the CL DOES NOT INCLUDE:
- Ease of recovery from anomalies (with the possibility to continue the execution from any macro sequence)
- Automatic message logging
