Introduction
All too often, documentation is an Information System's Achilles' heel. Incomplete contents, obsolescence, unavailability and problems with confidential distribution are all issues that make documentation the redheaded stepchild of deliverables. Nevertheless, documentation remains an essential pre-requisite for development and information sharing within an IS.

Objectives
The power of our Suites, united with our consultants' expertise, allows us to take your documentation project entirely in hand. This ensures the most effective use of these tools, by freeing up your in-house technical people for projects that require their attention and skills.
The documentation produced is based on the technical elements revealed by our tools. Functional content can then be added. Your documentation will now meet the needs of everyone who depends on it, by providing:
- Production chains for the production section;
- Cross references and development documentation for your R&D section;
- Database modeling for DB administrators;
- Function flowcharts for function managers..
The entire documentation is generated in HTML format that matches your company's graphical charter, and is accessible to all users via intranet.

Implementation
Implementation can be broken down into steps adapted to your configuration and goal:
- An initial audit may be performed to establish and stabilize the number of components to be documented. Identifying multiple occurrences of sources and objects, sources without objects and objects without sources (backup copies, old unused components, etc.) allows isolation of items that are no longer used and add no value to the documentation.
- ARCAD database (Repository) loading can be enhanced by functional data that is inserted into documentation. Components may be sorted using a detailed tri-level hierarchy. This serves as a starting point to produce complete documentation.
- Definition of documentation models will account for the different levels of detail required (from general architecture with flow charts to in-depth description of a program's source code) and will integrate the active graphical charter.
- Document generation can be split between several severs to ensure rapid production.
