Is the price of the solutions based on the size of the machine?
No. Unlike most other software houses that implement this type of policy, our prices are linked to the number of developers. This makes our solutions easily affordable for everybody. The products are easy to set up and use, and are therefore perfectly suited to either small or large teams.

Another major benefit: Any change of hardware has no effect on the prices of maintenance licenses.

Training Questions

Is it possible to adapt its contents to our expectations?
In order to fit in exactly with the context in which the product was implemented, the ARCAD training is always given at the clients offices. The "Developer" training program can be carried out during one or two days depending on the functionalities that the client wishes to review for his team ("basic" utilization or advanced). The training is carried out either on a demo application base loaded on the system, or more generally, directly on the base of the clients applications.

Contracts Questions

Are the Upgrade/update and hot line support contracts separate?
No. The Upgrade/update and hot line support contracts are the same and called maintenance contract.

Can the maintenance contract be cancelled every year?
Yes. As long as a letter is sent by registered mail at least three months before the end of it's annual expiry date, a maintenance contract can be canceled.

Does access to the products work by the number of licenses stated in the contract? (Simultaneous number of accesses, access by name, etc.)
It is done by name for the Skipper solution. Each AS/400 user profile is listed in the base. For ARCAD Observer, the access is by client workstation (seat). The security control is carried out by verifying the serial number of the hard drive. This means that if the license is moved from one PC station to another, you will need to request a new key number.
