Software Technical Support Engineer - Peterborough, NH USA

We are seeking a System i software management tools expert to provide technical support to our growing North American customer base.

Profile
The Sr. Technical Support Engineer will be located in our Peterborough, NH, office. He or she will provide telephone and on-line support to customers and prospects in the United States and other English-speaking countries. Duties will include:

• First-level technical support,
• Presales Web demos,
• Occasional on-site customer support,
• Tradeshow participation,
• Assistance responding to RFPs.

To be a qualified applicant for this position, you must have 2+ years of experience providing support to software management customers in the System i market. Knowledge of multi-platform change management solutions and WDSc is required. Business Developer – Site Manager (M/W) – Luxemburg

Independent Software Vendor – ISV – (57 e) for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Java and System i ( AS/400). We optimize security of application infrastructure for major European accounts. We offer both development and integration of our solutions.

Profile
Sales engineer for products and IT services, you are able to dialog with IT Directors and assess their needs.  Your skills include:

• Ability to prospect and follow-up an installed base,
• Perception of the issues facing IT teams,
• Bilingual English (German would be an advantage),
• Knowledge of the banking sector.

Java (Eclipse) Developer (H/F) Annecy (74): 25/40 KE

Mission
This staff member will have the following responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of new modules and/or products,
• Maintenance of existing products,
• Writing technical documentation within the framework of software systems in the Java environment (Eclipse plug-in and J2EE)

For this position, he or she must demonstrate:

• Strong sensitivity to quality and problems of software publishing,
• Good control of project timelines,
• Curiosity, motivation, and autonomy.

Technical skills requested:

• Very good Java language skills and use of the Eclipse IDE,
• Good knowledge of the following environments:

- J2EE (Web Services, Servlets/Portlets), 

- UML Modeling,

- Open Source (Log4j, Dom4j, Ant, Maven, Axis, etc.)

- Database (ex. DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.),

- Knowledge of the UNIX world (AIX) /Linux would be a plus

English skills appreciated.

Mission
You will be responsible for installing/configuring our solutions as well as training AS/400 and Java data processing teams for large customers (banks, industries, services) in France and abroad:

• Research, preliminary analyses,
• Proposals for solutions,
• Implementation,
• Training,
• Start-up assistance.

You will be with customers throughout organization changes and take an active part in the implementation of methodology:

• Advice,
• Change leadership,
• Project management.

Specific pre-sales assignments and pilot studies will also be entrusted to you.

• Customer-service oriented,
• Project management, relationship building abilities, 
• Travel during the week in France and abroad,
• Standard English essential, 
• Knowledge of development issues on the AS/400 (System i) and Java.
