How it works...
ARCAD-Verifier provides:
- Instant detection of differences between versions of programs at the user interface level,
- Detection of database differences after execution,
- Exclusion from comparison of certain user interface, spool file, or database fields.
After the test is recorded, ARCAD-Verifier contains:
- All of the steps involved: all user key strokes and actions and system responses (screens),
- All impacted files and the data within those files.

Scenario validation:
The validation phase is performed after recording, and it consists of replaying the scenario to verify its consistency. It then becomes the “reference,” which will be used later to detect possible regressions.
Validation allows:
- Verification of test scenario execution,
- Exclusion of certain screen fields that should not be compared (time, screen ID),
- Exclusion of certain database fields,
- Exclusion of certain spool file lines.
