5250 Emulator Plug-in Now Available for RDi! Our complementary 5250 Emulator plug-in, which enables developers to start 5250 emulation sessions from within Eclipse-based IDEs, is now available for RDi.
It has always been challenging for an IBM i developer to unit test changes to procedures, modules, programs, and service programs. In order to test when working in RDi, you need to keep a separate 5250 session at hand. The ARCAD plug-in makes it easy for you to open a 5250 session within RDi. NOTE: This plug-in does not require the installation of any software on your IBM i and is compatible with RDi 7.5+ and Eclipse 3.4.x/3.5.x. Features - Opens any number of 5250 sessions on any number of machines.
- Customizes colors, typeface, cursor shape, and more.
- Supports 24x80 and 27x132, the code page, and system requests.
