EDITORIAL
by Philippe MAGNE, CEO and Chairman
As I write this, our company is entering its 19th year, and we have just celebrated this milestone as it deserves, together with around 50 client and partner companies. Very shortly You’ll be able to see some of the high points of the 2010 Forum and check out some new client experiences with ARCAD.
We’ve come a long way together over the last 18 years!
Our product line has expanded considerably since the

first version of our product, developed at the European Space Center in 1988 – and it has always developed coherently while integrating the many technological breakthroughs over the years. Today, ARCAD Software is the proud owner of over three million lines of RPG and Java code. We have always integrated the most up-to-date, innovative technologies into a product offering that is has never stopped evolving. We have only one goal: meet our clients’ needs. |
|
In 18 years, ARCAD Software has become a global company. We are one of the three market leaders in our industry and can be proud of being the only European company on the list. A very large number of strengths make ARCAD’s offering unique in the market. Satisfied clients in over 30 different countries recognize this technological superiority.
But the most important thing is that after 18 years, our company continues to innovate like it did on its first day in business. ARCAD recently won the Innovation Award at the last Common Europe conference for its Critical Data Management technology. This technology – which is already in use by several of our clients – is a great example of successful innovation. CDM is the end result of unparalleled technological expertise. However, we won’t stop there. At the Forum we announced that CDM would be ported to open systems. There is currently no equivalent on the market. We can hardly wait to launch this new solution, which meets pressing needs for productivity and security. |

We already believe that 2010 will be a year of major change. This is why we decided to celebrate this change by designing a new logo. I hope you will like it as much as we do.
Have a great summer vacation. I look forward to seeing you again in the fall - we’ll have lots of news to share.
Yours,
Philippe MAGNE

By Stéphanie ZELKO Marketing Manager
There is no foolproof method for planning a good user forum. The success of this type of event is above all a question of ambiance, quality of dialog and communication. On 18 June, during our 2010 User Forum, we were delighted to experience something really special: a real chance to exchange with our clients.
This can be explained in a few different ways…

A new logo for ARCAD |
by Stéphanie ZELKO, Marketing Manager
A few months ago, we started seriously reconsidering our visual communications. We decided that the time had come to give our good old logo a makeover.
Firstly, ARCAD had turned 18 years old. This was a highly symbolic date that obviously deserved a celebration. But we also wanted to give our old logo its due. It has been our most loyal representative for many years, and our trusted ally in representing our company to you, even when – especially when! – we weren’t actually on the spot there with you.
So that’s what we did! Come check out our new logo.
