Assessing Maintainability of RPG Code through ARCAD’s MaaS: A Comparative Study
IBM Lab services were tasked to evaluate the maintainability of the RPG Free Form code generated by the ARCAD Modernization as a Service (MaaS) process. The MaaS process takes RPG or RPG ILE code generated using SYNON methods and converts the code to modularized, free-form, modern RPG. The result is code that can be more easily managed and maintained without the need for SYNON.
