Context

Talentia’s Technical Department faced a double challenge: on one hand, discovering and understanding an unfamiliar IBM i platform with its specific constraints, RPG III language, and legacy operations; on the other hand, securing its future by defining a long-term modernization strategy, in response to staff turnover, recruitment difficulties due to the lack of modern languages, and the maintainability issues of existing applications.

Solution

Talentia selected “Modernization As A Service”, for transforming DB2 databases, Adelia-developed applications, and native RPG III apps, and “ARCAD for DevOps Advanced”, for a complete CI/CD solution.
